Finishing your video scrapbook design
Finishing your video scrapbook design properly is essential to its survival (and in one way...yours!)
You have gone through the Beginning and Middle portions of your scrapbook design and gotten the footage recorded. You discovered that the editing of the video is actually a lot of fun and gives you a ton of creative possibilities with your scrapbook layout ideas. You now have a VHS video or DVD finished version.
Now the hard part...you have to show it to people. GULP! We all have our own moments of truth where we show our true insides...maybe to a boy/girlfriend or even a business associate. And showing the hard work you put into a video scrapbook design for the first time can be very emotional. So, prepare for it. The hard work is over and all that is left is watching the people watching your project. WOW...that sounds easy. Well, not really but it can be pretty satisfying and it will work. Why? No one can ever fault you for that. If they try, let us know, we’ll set them straight REAL FAST.
So, part of the proper finishing your video scrapbook design is deciding how/when you will show the project. We suggest a very small group – maybe the people who were present at the recording and spouses. Of course, the star will be there and it will be a time of anxiety for them because their life is about to be displayed on the screen. Make it a wonderful experience for them. They will see some flaws, some things they wished could be different, but your job is clear... Ensure the star that what is on the recording is wonderful, genuine, and will be a fantastic keepsake for the family for years to some. And SURPRISE...you will probably find out that the star is flattered, genuinely pleased, and excited for the rest of the family to see it. Your job is done and you’ve made something that is truly an important keepsake for the family. archived.
