Convincing your star to do the project
Convincing your subject to do a video scrapbook is not difficult if you know scrapbook psychology. Remember, that we must be considerate of the person at all times so if there is any major refusal, let it pass and broach the subject later.
Sometimes people need to think about things for awhile and, if you can explain the reasons for the interest in doing the video scrapbook to their satisfaction, your convincing will go well.

"Why Make A Video Scrapbook"
then click there now. We believe that the most powerful argument for doing a video scrapbook is for the benefit of future generations. A lot of people (especially the elderly) don’t believe they have a lot of value and see little reason why they should be recorded for a video scrapbook. Well, we know that this is wrong so our job is to prove to them that we are excited about their comments and that they are valuable. If an explanation of the benefits to the future doesn’t seem to make a dent in your subject’s defenses, it may be time to bring in the big guns of scrapbook psychology. Don’t do this if the person is genuinely afraid or the discussion is causing distress. However, if they are just being stubborn (ever met someone like that?) then a phone call from a favorite daughter or grandchild may do the trick.
Brief them on what you are trying to do and ask them to explain how they feel and why they would love to have it done. Imagine if your grandchild called you up and genuinely explained how he or she would really love to be able to keep a video of you and your life comments for themselves and THEIR children. Can you see the ice melting as we go here? Remember this as one of your most important scrapbook techniques.
Be creative and use your own scrapbook how-to techniques.
