  • Plan on shooting anything and everything during the graduate's day
  • Never assume that something may not have sentimental value
  • Always get the graduation program and any other school material available. The grad will forget to get things and you will be a hero!

    • Keep in mind that a VIDEO SCRAPBOOK is not just a home video. A home video is just a bunch of random shots of stuff during an event. It seldom has a purpose in telling a story but your video scrapbook will document the event in e meaningful way using what you are learning here.

    The key ... PEOPLE. Record them and not things. Documenting people preserves them during the event - a stadium or auditorium or bunch of pretty flowers means nothing.
