Scrapbook psychology

Scrapbook psychology (hmmm, sounds like a great name for a new technique) is what we call the collection of hints to help you get your recording subject interested and comfortable with all of a sudden being a TV star. This “reality show” is much more engaging than the fake stuff on television networks because it is coming from a real person.

You, as the producer, need to help the process along by being in charge and having a solid roadmap of where you will take your star. Anyone will be uneasy if they don’t know the road and are expecting to fall off of a cliff.

We, as your scrapbook consultants, have been using the “memories scrapbook layout” concept as our example (because it is the most commonly recorded), let’s explore some of the psychology aspects of what you may need to deal with in our scrapbook tutorial.

Convincing your star to do the project.
Making the star feel at ease.
Showing the project to the star.
